State Street® SPDR® Blmbg 1-10 YrTIPSETF (TIPX) is a passively managed Taxable Bond Short-Term Inflation-Protected Bond exchange-traded fund (ETF). State Street Investment Management launched the ETF in 2013.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg 1-10 Year U.S. government Inflation-Linked Bond Index that tracks the 1-10 year inflation protected sector of the United States Treasury market.
Under normal market conditions, the fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index and in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index.
