Local Chapter Webinars Coming to Your Screen

AAII has a vibrant network of local chapters throughout the country led by volunteer AAII members, who bring members together to hear educational investing presentations in their own communities. While all in-person local chapter meetings have been canceled until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic, many chapters are already hard at work converting their planned meetings into webinars that members can “attend” from their homes. These webinars are streamed online and accessible to you from your computer or mobile device.
The first chapter to convert their meeting to a webinar was the Chicago chapter. Their webinar was held on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. Central Time. Steve Shaw, founder & president of BondSavvy, spoke on “Rethinking Bond Investing” to a “crowd” of 150. Chicago chapter leaders rated the event very successful.

These are great and I plan to attend several on the list. However, I'm interested in several other events such as the options group. I also signed up for the A+ program but have found difficulties with some of the function. Since it's new, that isn't a surprise. An on line discussion group on this program would be very helpful. Can AAII's national office help in getting these, and some other interest groups started?
