The CARES Act is intended to provide a large amount of fiscal stimulus in response to the coronavirus pandemic. This stimulus includes a rebate for individual taxpayers, temporary changes to the rules regarding retirement savings withdrawals and a greater ability to deduct charitable donations. AAII Journal Editor Charles Rotblut explains what individual investors need to know about all three.
