You can get up-to-date market and trading information on exchange-traded funds from several comprehensive financial Web sites, as well as the Web sites of the ETF marketers and sponsors. Prospectuses and other fund reports can be downloaded from the individual ETF sponsor Web sites. These sites also typically contain useful information on how well the fund has historically tracked its underlying index.

Comprehensive

American Stock Exchange (Amex)

Comprehensive information on all exchange-traded funds that are listed on the Amex. The individual fund “tear sheets” contain a variety of useful data, including a fund description, performance information (based on market price and net asset value), holdings, historical premiums and discounts, and a distribution history.

ETF Connect offers a wide array of data on exchange-traded funds. Information on individual ETFs includes price, dividend history, portfolio manager, investment objective, diversification of assets, performance numbers and expense ratios.
