The AAII St. Louis Chapter has been buzzing with lively gatherings that blend education, camaraderie and a dash of humor—proving that learning about money doesn’t have to be dull.
Recent meetings have covered a wide spectrum of topics, ensuring there’s something for every investor. The Options 101 session demystified the sometimes-intimidating world of puts and calls, while the estate planning presentation offered practical tips for protecting legacies. For those eager to spot the next big thing, the technical trading and growth stock talk provided actionable insights. Another standout session focused on measuring risk tolerance, where attendees explored how personality and life stage shape investment choices—leading to both self-discovery and some lighthearted group reflection.
The excitement continues in July. The next social event promises a round robin of “worst investment ever made” stories, sure to deliver laughter (and maybe a few groans) as members share hard-won lessons. The September agenda includes a deep dive into AAII’s Essential Investing (EI) Course, offering a road map for smarter financial decisions and plenty of opportunities for networking and growth.
Whether you’re a novice or a veteran, the AAII St. Louis Chapter is your ticket to becoming a wiser, more confident investor—all while having a great time. So, if you live near St. Louis, Missouri, join the AAII St. Louis Chapter via www.aaii.com/ChapterEmail, then go to the AAII Community home page and watch for future announcements. We usually meet on Saturday afternoons every other month. Our next meeting date is July 26 at the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library.
