Since the pandemic changed the meeting landscape for many organizations, including AAII, the trend among AAII local chapters and its special interest groups (SIGs) has been to offer online meetings to supplement—or, in some cases, even replace—in-person meetings. This increase in online meeting offerings gives all AAII members the opportunity to attend presentations by investing industry thought leaders and nationally respected speakers regardless of where they live.
But how do AAII members like you find out about these other offerings throughout the AAII nation? Simply start by logging in to the AAII Community with your AAII credentials.
Once you have logged in, click on the Events tab at the top-right of the page. This will open a drop-down menu where you can select either a list of upcoming events or an event calendar.
You can click through the entries to register for the meetings that you plan to attend. Additionally, you can further screen meeting topics using the All Communities tab to view offerings by category, including both local chapters and SIGs.
In a future AAII Journal article, we will discuss how to become a virtual member of the AAII chapters and SIGs that interest you most. Joining a chapter and/or SIG is a great way to get more involved, meet other AAII members and stay on top of future meeting offerings.
