The AAII Cleveland Chapter hosted an in-person educational seminar showcasing AAII’s Essential Investing (EI) Course, presented by Raymond Rondeau. The course provides a variety of lessons, curated from many experts in the industry and provided in a multimedia, interactive format. Rondeau’s introduction to the learning modules was superb and provided our audience the opportunity to experience his expertise up close.
Rondeau explained that the EI Course has something for everyone: novice investors, technical analysts, wealth accumulators, people seeking a new segment to add to their knowledge, and those who are more seasoned and proficient in managing their portfolios. He gave an engaging presentation that made great use of everyone’s time.
Having a top-level speaker come to town allowed attendees to connect in person with an industry expert. In addition, local chapter officials had the opportunity to entertain the presenter at dinner and engage in further conversation.
Many of the AAII Cleveland Chapter’s recent educational seminars have been virtual, so this meeting enabled us to welcome many new AAII members as well as local chapter participants we had not seen in years. A special benefit was that many attendees brought their older-teenage or young adult family members, enabling them to experience firsthand what AAII has to offer.
Rondeau’s presentation shows that an out-of-town presenter, or perhaps a new local presenter, can provide a refreshing atmosphere for both members and local chapters seeking to reopen doors to renewed educational content.
