Evernote is a free note-taking program that assists you in remembering important details on a daily basis. It allows you take and save notes in an archive, which can be accessed on multiple platforms, including your computer, cellphone and tablet. You can type traditional notes as well as drag and drop images, audio files and PDFs directly into the note. Its unique features have made it a popular program among consumers.
Evernote can create to-do lists, make notes, clip entire Web pages, manage passwords and record audio. The latest version added another useful feature called Reminders. Three features are included in Reminders: in-app and email alarms, quick note-based to-do lists and the ability to pin notes at the top of the note list. This was something that many Evernote users were demanding, and the creators responded. There is now a little alarm-like button on top of the application that will allow you access to these new features. Reminders are notebook-based, meaning they can be tagged under a specific note and will appear when you click on the note in a separate Reminders section. The Reminders feature is currently available on Evernote for Mac, iOS, Android and Evernote Web.
There was also a modification to the Evernote Food section. If you are having issues finding a recipe, you can search the Web through Evernote Food’s Explore Recipes search section and easily clip recipes to your Cookbook.
Evernote is easy to navigate and it syncs all of your notes on each platform. So, each time you log into Evernote, whether online or on your cellphone, all of the updated information will appear. This particular version in our download library is for Windows, but there are versions available for iOS and Mac.
