DRIP Wizard

Website of dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP), stock, and mutual fund investment management program also offers free DRIP screener.

www.dripwizard.com

DRIP Wizard is a software program from Simplisoft LLC to help investors track the incremental share purchases that are made when participating in a dividend reinvestment plan. With the software, you can see the current value of your DRIP investments, the real return on investment for your DRIPs, and the capital gains on stocks sold. The program runs on Windows 95 systems or higher (although the site does not say if it is compatible with Windows Vista or 7) and costs $49.95.

If you were to visit the DRIP Wizard website, it is easy to believe that it is merely a marketing tool for the software. However, if you click on the DRIP DATABASE SEARCH link on the left side of the page, you can access the site’s free DRIP screener. You can screen a database of over 800 companies offering DRIPs based on a variety of criteria, including company size, grade, sector and industry. Screening results are provided in list form with contact information. For most companies, the site provides links directly to the DRIP information.

Can't use it on MAC?

Wayne from IL posted over 15 years ago:

Sorry, but this is a Windows-based software program.

Dorothy from NC posted over 14 years ago:

I use a MAC and I appreciate Michael's comment being a Window's based software program. Great help!

Wayne from IL posted over 14 years ago:

Have been reviewing investment software for 14 years, there is very little quality software for the Mac. That is why we always recommend Windows-based systems for those looking to do in-depth computerized investment analysis. --Wayne A. Thorp, CFA
