JStock is a free stock market program that allows users to monitor their investments, as well as provide well-organized stock market information. Users can also create stock watchlists. The screen will show all relevant information for the security including items like previous close, high and low prices and more. JStock uses public data from Yahoo! Finance; data is delayed 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the exchange. Users can create several different stock watchlists as well.

JStock also has a stock indicator editor. This is where the user can create their own stock filtering rules, or use previously created indicators by JStock. It is a way to visually display stock filtering rules. Once you’ve created your screening criteria, you can run stocks through the stock indicator scanner in real time. This can be done over a broad market, several markets or stocks on your watchlist.

Users can also create investment flow charts to see how keen their investment skills are. Once in the portfolio management tab, just right-click and create investment charts, dividend charts or a portfolio overview. The portfolio management tab is for investors to create a record of their paper profit and realized profit.

JStock has cloud capability. You can save your settings to a cloud server, so if you go to your office, you can easily load your home settings onto the program. Saved settings or information can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Data is stored in a private Google Drive account. Another feature is the currency exchange capability. If you need currency converted, the program has a simple input to do just that.
