Personal Portfolio Manager 7 was first added to AAII’s Download Library in December of 2006. The program provides investment management capabilities for retirement planning, college planning and brokerage accounts and allows you to create what-if scenarios. Personal Portfolio Manager can handle stock, bond and mutual fund transactions and can automatically compute capital gains and losses.

You are able to create 999 different portfolios for separate investment accounts. Reports can be customized with different date ranges can include any combination of portfolios. Simple technical analysis capabilities are also provided, with indicators such as moving averages, relative strength and RSI included in the program. In addition, Personal Portfolio Manager 7 offers built-in capabilities for downloading current and historical stock quotes.
