  The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 made some of the most significant changes to the federal tax code in 30 years and was intended to put more money in peoples’ paychecks and simplify the tax-filing process. Last week’s reader survey asked how the changes to the tax law impacted the size of their federal income tax refund.
