It serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) from semiconductors and consumer electronics, and space and defense electronics industries; companies from hardware and software technology, the electronics, and the photovoltaic industries; and companies that are part of the supply chain of such global companies. The company was founded in 1864 and is based in Freudenstadt, Germany.
