DuPont analysis

A method for analyzing the return on equity of a stock created by the DuPont Corp. in the 1920s. The three-step DuPont model is calculated as: net profit margin × asset turnover × equity multiplier. Ideally, you would like to see a company boosting its return on equity by increasing its net margin or its asset turnover.
