Biography:
Chris White has worked as an investment counselor and wealth manager for individuals and institutions for over 25 years. He has invested client monies in individual equities and fixed income, funds and limited partnerships. He has served as chief investment officer at a Boston-based investment firm with over $3 billion of assets under management. Prior to that, White served as head of the equity area at a Boston-based bank. White has written numerous white papers, quarterly investment letters and articles for various investment-oriented publications, including Barron’s, CFA Magazine, Wealthmanagement.com and others. White recently wrote “Working with the Emotional Investor: Financial Psychology for Wealth Managers” with Richard Koonce (Praeger, 2016). White earned his A.B. and M.S. in geology and received his MBA from Columbia Business School, majoring in finance and accounting.
Chris White is a senior investment counselor at Hemenway Trust Company, LLC. He is author with Richard Koonce of the book “Working With the Emotional Investor” (Praeger, 2016).
