Biography:

Eric Barden is the marketing manager for Technician. He is a graduate of James Madison University. In the 10 years before coming to Technician, Barden built small businesses within the sports industry. He has a strong background in marketing, sales, and management experience, including once having his own consulting business. His transition from sports to financial technology was fairly easy, due to his father introducing him to stocks at a young age. His first investment was in Cisco during the dot-com bubble, which was a huge loss for a teenager but also an educational lesson in how the markets work.
