Biography:
Harold Pollack is the Helen Ross Professor of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago, where he researches urban public health challenges. He is co-author (with Helaine Olen) of “The Index Card: Why Personal Finance Doesn't Have to Be Complicated” (Portfolio, 2016). His writings regularly appear in The Washington Post, The New York Times and other popular publications.
