Biography: Luke Delorme joined the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) in 2013 as a research fellow with a focus in retirement studies, investment economics and personal finance. He strives to produce practical research designed to meet the needs of individual investors. His research informs the recommendations of AIER’s wholly owned subsidiary, American Investment Services, which is a registered investment adviser located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Delorme holds a B.S. in economics and an MBA from Boston College. During his graduate studies he received the Wall Street Journal award for being the top student in the field of finance. Prior to business school, he spent two years studying retirement issues such as Social Security and retirement readiness at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. After business school, Delorme worked as a researcher and strategist for State Street Global Markets in Boston. He also spent four years working in economic consulting at Analysis Group in Boston, where he worked on a wide range of financial and economic litigation, including several cases related to the recent housing crisis.
