Biography:
Tom Winmill has acted as portfolio manager of Midas Fund (MIDSX) since 2002. Since 1995, he has served as president of the fund’s investment manager and chairman of its investment policy committee. He also serves as president and director of the Midas family of mutual funds.

A graduate of Yale University (B.A. political science and economics, 1981) and the University of Washington’s Condon School of Law (J.D., 1985), he is a member of the bar of New York State and the SEC Rules committee of the Investment Company Institute.
