The AAII Charlotte Chapter presents...
Investing and Protecting Your Assets During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Discussed by:
John Kosar, CMT
Chief Market Strategist, Asbury Research LLC
The expected personal and economic devastation of the coronavirus pandemic has already triggered and fueled a 35% collapse in the benchmark S&P 500 index in a little less than a month. Some investors, fortunate enough to pare back their market exposure before the market decline accelerated, are wondering when and where they can reinvest at lower, better prices. Other investors are wondering just how much more pain they and their investment accounts can stand before they are forced to “throw in the towel.” Young investors can utilize dollar-cost averaging during big market declines because they have time on their side, but older investors do not have that luxury. In this presentation, John Kosar, CMT, a 40-year veteran of the financial markets, will show attendees how Asbury Research “follows the money” to identify periods of opportunity from periods of risk, and how it uses proprietary tactical models to help older investors invest while also protecting their money—even in the most risky environments.
