Carillon Chartwell Real Income I (BERIX) is an actively managed Taxable Bond Inflation-Protected Bond fund. Carillon Family of Funds launched the fund in 1987.
The investment seeks to provide investors with current income and preserve inflation adjusted capital by seeking returns that exceed the rate of inflation over a complete market cycle. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing in income producing securities. It fund intends to invest at least 60% of its net assets in TIPS. The fund may invest in TIPS and other inflation-indexed debt securities and fixed income securities of any maturity.
