The company’s technology platforms include EngageTx that provides a panel of optimized CD3 antibodies that can be paired with tumor-targeting antibodies to generate bispecific T-cell engagers; StableHu, an AI antibody-optimizing technology; and AI epitope steering technology, small binding sites on large target proteins Its product pipelines for cardiometabolic disease area include IBIO-601, a monoclonal antibody designed to block Activin E; IBIO-800, a bispecific antibody designed to inhibit myostatin and activin A signaling to preserve lean mass; IBIO-600 Myostatin Antibody, monoclonal antibody blocking myostatin that is in phase 1; Amylin Antibody, a pancreatic hormone that promotes satiety and appetite control through activation of the amylin receptor; CCR8, a Treg-targeting immunotherapy; and MUC16 antibodies. In addition, the company is developing, an antibody therapeutics to treat glioblastoma and other cancers by selectively killing EGFRvIII tumor cells without destroying healthy tissue; and TROP-2 x CD3 bispecific antibody that is developed with EngageTx platform to harness T cells to kill TROP-2–expressing tumors while minimizing the cytokine release that often limits the tolerability of T-cell engagers. It has a collaboration agreement with AstralBio to discover and develop novel antibodies for obesity and other cardiometabolic diseases. The company was formerly known as iBioPharma, Inc. and changed its name to iBio, Inc. in August 2009. iBio, Inc. was incorporated in 2008 and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
