New Discounts for CI Subscribers

Some of the investing services we’ve covered are now offering lower prices for their tools exclusively to CI subscribers.

This month, we have a new Computerized Investing benefit to introduce.

As a CI subscriber, you can receive discounts on three different services: stock research sites Stock Rover and TipRanks and portfolio tracker Investment Account Manager.

Each company has a respective discount code that you can access by logging onto the CI website and clicking the “CI Member Discounts” Quicklink found underneath the main section tabs.

We hope to add to this list of discounts over time. If there are particular software packages you’d like us to reach out to, please email us at CI@aaii.com to let us know.

A little bit about the companies mentioned above:

Stock Rover is a web-based research application that helps individual investors research and analyze stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Stock Rover has screening tools, fundamental data metrics, charting capabilities and more. The company is constantly adding new features and metrics based on user feedback, and has made it to the Best of the Web list several times (as Editor’s Choice!). Stock Rover offers a free version, which is definitely worth checking out.

TipRanks is a tool that helps individual investors hold analysts and bloggers accountable for their stock recommendations by maintaining data on their accuracy and reliability. TipRanks provides information on analysts, hedge fund managers, financial bloggers and corporate insiders. Based on the data collected, the website displays an analyst consensus rating, average price target and much more. They also recently released a new tool called Smart Portfolio that we will highlight in next month’s edition of CI.

Investment Account Manager is a comprehensive portfolio management and tracking software. The program allows investors to track their investments in one centralized place, perform comprehensive transaction accounting, create customizable tables, analyze portfolio rebalancing and allocation and much more.

Investment Account Manager is featured in this month’s feature “The Top Portfolio Management Software,” written by CI intern Andrew Plis. Also compared in the article is Fund Manager 2016, Personal Portfolio Manager 7 and Quicken Premier 2016.

Staying on the portfolio tracking theme, this month’s Best of the Web series covers the “Top Portfolio Tracking and Optimization” websites. Featured in that summary is FeeX, Macroaxis, Personal Capital, Portfolio Monkey, Wikinvest and Morningstar.

For the week ended October 7, 2016, two CI Market Dashboard indicators are bullish, four are neutral and three are bearish. For more information on the CI Market Dashboard and its nine indicators, click here.
