In Stock Investor Pro, you can create your own portfolios, which can be composed of unique groups of stocks you find interesting, the stocks in a market index, or the results of a stock screen. Portfolios allow you to examine a list of stocks from update to update without having to sift through Stock Investor's entire database.
We are proud to introduce Stock Investor Pro 4.5. This update deals strictly with data; no enhancements or changes to functionality or usability have been made to the program at this time.
AAII offers weekly data updates to subscribers of Stock Investor Pro. These files are typically available by Sunday morning (Central Time). This issue of Stock Investor News walks you through the process of updating your SI Pro, as well as how to make use of automatic updates. There are two methods of updating the program: using the monthly CD or using the Program/Data Install option available at AAII.com.
Companies of interest can be identified through a variety of methods in Stock Investor Pro. Once you have a company that you are interested in, you can use ratio analysis to dig deeper into the company’s fundamentals to make judgments about its profitability.
