Zacks.com offers stock data of all kinds—and lots of it. When it comes to earnings estimates data, it is at the top of our list. Once you arrive on Zacks.com, type in the ticker of the stock you are researching in the “quote or search” box in the upper-right-hand corner of the website. Consensus earnings estimates can be viewed under Detailed Estimates, which is a subcategory of the “Zacks Research” heading in the gray navigation box on the left-hand side of the page. The Detailed Estimates section provides the company’s earnings per share and surprise last quarter, the date for the next earnings report, and the consensus earnings estimates for the current quarter and year and next year.
The website is comprehensive in nature but it doesn’t feel cluttered. At the bottom of the page is an earnings estimate table that highlights estimates for the next two quarters and the next two years. Here, also, are the high and low estimates for each period as well as the number of analysts providing an estimate.
Below this are other detailed tables: one showing the consensus earnings estimates revisions up and down within the last 60 days, one showing the consensus estimate trend, and one comparing the most accurate estimate to the consensus.
Lastly, there is a table displaying the company’s historical earnings surprise history for the last four quarters. Premium subscribers have access to tables breaking down quarterly and annual estimates by analyst.
