The AAII Investor Hub

The AAII Investor Hub is a new user interface available to all AAII members. It brings together the tools and content you rely on most into a single, unified dashboard, so you can spend less time navigating the AAII sites and more time focused on your investments. From the Investor Hub, you can monitor your portfolios, explore AAII model portfolios (if subscribed), run stock screens, and review A+ Stock, ETF and Mutual Fund Grades.

You can also install the Investor Hub as a stand-alone app on your computer, phone and tablet, giving you a clean, fast experience that loads instantly.

We built the Investor Hub because better-informed investors make better decisions, and that starts with having the right information well-organized and accessible when you need it. Whether you’re checking in on your holdings, discovering new investment ideas or stress-testing a strategy, the Investor Hub gives you a clear, connected view.

The New My Portfolio

We recently unveiled a significantly improved version of My Portfolio, which has long been one of our most-used tools. Available to all AAII members, this upgrade brings a faster, more intuitive interface along with expanded functionality. It is designed to help you better understand your holdings, evaluate performance and make informed decisions about your investments. And because your existing portfolio data automatically carried over to the new My Portfolio, there’s nothing to set up; you can start using the new version today.

One of the most meaningful additions to My Portfolio is the introduction of new portfolio views. Every AAII member can use the new Shadow view, which surfaces valuation, market capitalization and relative strength data—the same metrics used in AAII’s Model Shadow Stock Portfolio—as well as A+ Stock Grades. This complements the default view, which provides individual holding performance and portfolio weighting. Subscribers to Dividend Investing (DI), Growth Investing, Stock Superstars Report (SSR) or VMQ Stocks can access views tailored to the criteria of each newsletter, giving a more relevant lens for evaluating holdings. AAII Platinum subscribers have access to all available views, with more customization options on the way.

Price alerts remain available to all members. Additionally, A+ Investor and AAII Platinum subscribers receive daily A+ Stock Grade Alerts and weekly A+ Insights on their portfolios, keeping them informed between visits so they never miss an important change.

Brokerage Portfolio Integration

Direct brokerage integration through My Portfolio helps you connect AAII’s research to the investments you own. Importing your brokerage portfolio to My Portfolio automatically brings your holdings into one place for analysis.

You can now securely connect brokerage accounts from firms such as Charles Schwab, Vanguard, Robinhood, E-Trade, Chase and many others via Plaid, a read-only application widely used in the financial industry.

Once connected, your holdings are automatically brought into the Investor Hub, where you can see A–F Stock Grades, performance metrics and key fundamentals for every position in your portfolio. Instead of manually researching stocks one at a time, you can quickly identify potential red flags, monitor portfolio quality and determine whether your holdings still meet the characteristics you look for as an investor.

By combining your real-world portfolio with AAII’s research and analytical tools, the new My Portfolio helps you spend less time gathering information, giving you more time to make informed decisions. Whether you’re evaluating a longtime holding, searching for opportunities to rebalance or simply checking the overall health of your portfolio, you’ll have a clearer view of where you stand and where you may want to make changes.

Custom View Builder

Every investor has a unique strategy, and your portfolio view should reflect that. AAII members can now build fully customized column layouts for their portfolio holdings table. This enables you to choose the exact data fields that matter to your approach and remove the ones that don’t.

With up to 10 custom fields available to all members—and no limit for A+ Investor and AAII Platinum subscribers—you can tailor your view to surface the metrics most relevant to how you evaluate investments, whether that’s valuation data, sector comparisons, relative strength or something else entirely. Custom views can be updated or removed at any time, so your portfolio table evolves with your strategy.

Our aim with this update was simple: When you sit down to review your portfolio, you should be able to see the information that helps you make decisions, not a one-size-fits-all table that wasn’t built with your goals or day-to-day use in mind.

James: AI-Powered Investing

James is AAII’s new artificial intelligence (AI) investing assistant, named in honor of our late founder James Cloonan. True to Cloonan’s legacy, James is built around education and data and is designed to help members think through their investments more clearly, not to make decisions for them.

AAII members can ask James questions in plain language about their portfolios, A+ Stock Grades, investing strategies, asset allocation, diversification and more. Whether you want to know the Value Grade of a specific stock, see which holdings in your portfolio have strong Momentum Scores or simply get a snapshot of your total portfolio value, James can surface that information instantly.

You can ask James questions like:

  • Which stocks in my portfolio have the highest Value Grades?
  • Do I own AMZN in any of my portfolios?
  • What is the total value of my portfolio?

And these are only a few examples.

Think of James as a knowledgeable starting point—a way to ask the questions you already have and quickly get to the data and insights that help you answer them.

Redesigned Stock Screens

Stock screens have always been at the heart of AAII’s offerings. Now, the Investor Hub presents them in a faster, more interactive experience that makes it easier to find and act on the screens most relevant to your strategy.

All 55 AAII Stock Screens are now accessible in the Investor Hub, with dedicated tabs for Performance, Risk & Return, Yearly Performance, Characteristics, Grades and Power Rankings. You can favorite any screen—which pins it to your Investor Hub home page and saves it under the My Screens area for quick access—as well as explore each screen’s methodology, current passing stocks and historical performance against the S&P 500 index. The best part is that you can do all this without ever leaving the Investor Hub.

The Power Rankings page, one of AAII’s most-used screening features over the years, is also integrated directly into the Investor Hub experience. It surfaces the best-performing screens across all categories. You can rank the screens on short- and long-term return metrics and see what’s driving each screen’s position.

Whether you’re exploring a screen for the first time or keeping tabs on the ones you already follow, everything you need is now in one connected, easy-to-navigate place, saving you time as you evaluate and analyze potential investments.

AAII Financial Summary

Annually, AAII publishes its year-end balance sheet for members and life members interested in the finances of the Association. Prior years’ balance sheets can be found online in the Member News sections of past AAII Journals.

Note: Deferred membership revenue is recognized periodically as income over the membership period. Deferred life membership is recognized periodically as income over a 25-year period. This accrual method of accounting reflects the Association’s long-term obligation to its members.

Changes to AAII’s Terms of Service in 2026

This year, we introduced two key improvements to our Terms of Service agreement to provide additional context on our security measures and data handling regarding direct brokerage integration as well as portfolio monitoring and analysis.

AAII allows members to securely connect brokerage accounts through Plaid, a widely used financial technology platform with SOC 2 Type II certification. Users authenticate directly with their brokerage through Plaid, maintain control over which accounts are imported and can disconnect access at any time. AAII never sees or stores users’ brokerage login credentials.

Portfolio data is stored securely on AAII’s servers, encrypted in transit and protected by security measures, including Imperva’s enterprise-grade firewall and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack protection. When an account is disconnected, users can either choose to keep their holdings in My Portfolio as a manual portfolio or permanently delete all imported data. Plaid access is immediately revoked. Data syncing is user-initiated, limited to once every 24 hours per portfolio, and AAII only receives read access to investment holdings.
